We were recently lucky enough to be approached by a customer who wanted to sell us his superb, restored Bonneville, a genuine matching numbers 1970, considered by many to be the best of the Bonnevilles. We could not resist, so we acquired it and are now able to offer the bike for sale.
It was imported into the UK four years ago, when it was restored and registered here. It has a correct age related number plate and the V5 is in our possession. The restoration is of a very high quality, and the bike starts first kick, and runs and rides exactly as it should. It has painted mudguards, unlike some of these bikes which have stainless. There is some debate as to which is correct; it does seem that in North America some dealers ordered the bikes new with stainless, so the answer may be that both are correct. We have given it an MOT and an up to date tax disc, and it is ready to ride away. This really is a wonderful bike.
