In the opinion of most Bonneville experts by 1970 Triumph had nailed the design of their flagship model. After over a decade of modifications these bikes were the last of the line, before the introduction of the oil-in-frame T140. As a result these bikes are prized by owners and restorers alike. This particular matching numbers bike has been imported by us from one of our reliable US sources, and was the subject of a a ground up restoration over there.
The photos speak for themselves. This is a well-sorted bike that has not been over-restored and has kept a nice patina. It has the correct double horns for this model, what look like original Dunlop rims, and is generally a very stock motorcycle.
