1971 Laverda 750 SF
The Laverda 750 S was the first in the legendary line of 750 sports twins that were manufactured by Laverda between 1969 and 1977. It was when the company decided that the brakes for the bike should be made in-house that the SF came into production with the SF standing for Super Freini (super brakes).
This particular bike has been lovingly restored and maintained. It was restored in Italy in 2005 since when its original colour of red has been changed to a slightly metallic blue in recent years. This colour is based on an original Laverda colour and looks wonderful. These bikes were originally made to a very high level of quality, and this is truly an outstanding example. Like a small number of earlier SF models it has a Bosch headlight and Smiths clocks with the Laverda name on them. It runs and rides beautifully and benefits from a recent upgrade to a lighter clutch and throttle. It has matching frame and engine numbers, as well as ASI papers. We genuinely believe that it would be difficult to find a better example.
