1972 BSA A65 Thunderbolt
We are delighted to have recently acquired an award winning BSA Thunderbolt.
This is the oil-in-frame version of the A65 Thunderbolt. The Thunderbolt was made from 1964 to 1972, with the oil-in-frame version featuring for the last two years only. The bike runs on one carburettor, has a 650cc engine and was said on production to produce 46hp. This model has a reputation for reliability, good handling and enough power to make for an exciting ride. Top speed on production was quoted at 104mph.
Our bike is a past winner of the award for best post-war motorcycle at the Festival of 1000 Bikes at Mallory Park, and presents impeccably. It was restored by a Kent-based retired mechanic prior to winning the award. It is very rare that we are able to find a bikes in this condition, with every part having either been repaired, refurbished or renewed.
The bike comes with MOT and tax (historic), and is a real opportunity to buy an investment grade motorcycle.
