1974 Norton Commando 850 Roadster
We are delighted to be able to present a mint condition award-winning restored Mark 2 Commando in red and silver.
By 1974 the 850cc engine had overtaken the 750cc Commando engine and only 850cc bikes were being produced. The Roadster was the lighter, slimline version of the models. The majority of these bikes were produced for the US market, and they were only made for a short time from late 1973 to the end of 1974. To many people the Mark 2 Commando represents the pinnacle of the Commando as a fast, sport-oriented and touring bike.
Our bike has been recently restored by an award-winning Kent based restorer. The bike has been restored with the utmost attention to detail, and was recognised as an outstanding restoration by the restorer’s local motorcycle club where it won the prize for the best bike at its only appearance at a show. We are now able to offer the bike for sale, and we believe it would be difficult to find a better Commando. This is an excellent opportunity to buy an exceptional motorcycle to ride, to show or to keep as an investment. Quite simply, it’s the best Commando we have ever had.
The bike has matching numbers, an MOT and up to date tax.
